Feast and Field

Written in the grass is a quote from William Blake, “God appears and God is light, to those poor souls who dwell in night; But does a Human Form display to those who dwell in realms of day.” While I was painting this I couldn’t help wonder if I’d been privileged to enjoy a front row seat on a bit of heaven.
